The award highlights outstanding young professionals who have demonstrated leadership, initiative and dedication, are motivated by challenges, serve as volunteers in their communities, and are role models for their peers.

Valuable sorority experience

As an undergrad human resource management and business administration major, Saliba says, "The best opportunity I was given was serving as Gamma Alpha [Chapter]'s Risk Prevention and Standards Advisor." The role allowed her to experience mitigation, investigations and conflict resolution. She has worked in many different industries and has met talented leaders who encouraged her to pursue her MBA in human resource management at BW. Saliba currently oversees the ProActive HR consulting division at The Ahola Corporation.Delta Zeta logo

Saliba continues to be active volunteering at the national level of Delta Zeta as the Area II alumnae director.

Even though the Gamma Alpha chapter of Delta Zeta at BW is small compared to other schools, they have two previous Delta Zeta 35 Under 35 award designations, Lauren Hanna Masuga '08 and Ashlee Ammons '09.

BW faculty support gives advantage

Saliba attributes her successful career to her education at BW. "Baldwin Wallace has a great reputation in Northeast Ohio, and its brand recognition is associated with being innovative and academic." Saliba also said the in-person support she received from her professors, as both an undergraduate and graduate student, helped to set her apart from others.
