Kevin KropfDrury University in Springfield, Mo. recently welcomed Baldwin Wallace Master of Arts in Education (MAEd) graduate, Kevin Kropf, as the school's new Executive Vice President of Enrollment Management. Kropf credits his time in BW's MAEd program has a pivotal time in establishing his career path.

“My program strengthened my desire to impact the lives of young people," Kropf said of his time pursuing his master's degree at BW. "I truly enjoyed working with high school aged students, but I also found the college environment especially invigorating. Working in college admission allowed for both of those.”

Enrollment Management Career Success

Kropf's career path in higher education admissions has taken him to Albion College, Hendrix College and Baker University. In a Drury University press release, President Tim Cloyd said, “Kevin has an outstanding track record of results both as a leader of admissions teams and transforming enrollment efforts, especially campus visits.” Drury also praised Kropf for creating university-wide marketing and recruitment plans, and developing award-winning campus visit programs, noting that "the revamped campus visit program Kropf spearheaded at Hendrix was featured in the New York Times, the Chronicle of Higher Education and other media outlets."

Just a few months into his new position, Kropf tells BW that, “Starting at a new university has myriad challenges in terms of the learning curve related to “knowing” the institution and the key stakeholders…. It’s both exciting and, at times, overwhelming, but this is a position I have aspired to for the past few years.”
