Modified Spring 2020 Semester Schedule
At Baldwin Wallace University our first responsibility is to student education — that our students have access to great professors and together they advance their education on schedule. We appreciate the extraordinary efforts that so many are making to help achieve this goal and, at the same time, making the health and safety of everyone on campus a priority. There are currently no campus-associated cases of COVID-19.
Baldwin Wallace University has implemented a Modified Spring Semester Schedule in response to COVID-19, commonly known as novel Coronavirus. BW has extended remote instruction for the remainder of spring semester and for all summer courses. View the revised academic calendar and academic resources available to assist students with remote instruction.
Credits/Refunds
To sustain our commitment to our students' success, Baldwin Wallace is providing credits and refunds for dining, housing and parking. On April 2, 2020, the university shared details about credits and refunds resulting from the disruption of the spring semester with BW students and families.

Prevention
It's worth noting that we are in the midst of cold and flu season and the presence of respiratory symptoms, including fever, cough and shortness of breath, does not mean the source of illness is coronavirus. As is the case during every cold and flu season, we are all encouraged to follow the CDC's best practices for preventing the transmission of respiratory illnesses:
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
- Stay home when you are sick.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
