What makes BW distinctive for me? The sense of community. BW is more than a college campus. It is a community filled with people who want to see you succeed and are prepared to help you each step of the way.

What do I love most about Berea and Cleveland? I love that Berea is close to the city of Cleveland. The distance between the two gives you the option to enjoy the best of both worlds: the quiet, small town of Berea and the hustle, bustle and entertainment of a bigger city.

What is the most interesting place I have visited? The most interesting place that I’ve visited is Brazil. I went on a study abroad trip during undergrad at BW and it was absolutely amazing. From the food, to the richness of culture, and the people, the trip was a 10 out of 10.

My message to prospective students thinking about the value of college and BW: College is four years of your life that will shape you as a person and also your future. BW’s staff, faculty and students create a community that makes this university feel more like a home than just a school. If you are looking for an environment where you can get hands-on experience and build a strong network and community, both personally and professionally, then BW is the place for you.
