Where might you see me?

  • Cleveland's westside suburbs
  • Ohio counties: Allen, Ashtabula, Auglaize, Defiance, Fulton, Geauga, Hancock, Hardin, Henry, Lake, Lucas, Mercer, Ottawa, Paulding, Putnam, Sandusky, Seneca, Van Wert, Williams, Wyandot and Wood.
  • States: Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island.

My hometown: North Kingsville, Ohio

What makes BW distinctive for me? The entire community, including the students, faculty and staff, are all caring and respectful. Faculty in all programs are extremely helpful when students are looking for internships to prepare for life after college. BW and its community quickly became a home away from home for myself and a number of my colleagues.

What do I love most about Berea and Cleveland? The location of BW is amazing, and it was a main reason I attended. Berea has a small college town feel with all kinds of restaurants, stores, and even the Cleveland Metroparks -- and Cleveland is just fifteen to twenty minutes away! I loved being able to take a short trip to see the Browns, Cavs or Guardians.

Where would I still like to visit that I haven’t already? Hawaii. My parents went and talked about how amazing it was.

What is my favorite movie? I can’t just pick one. A few of my favorites are "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," "Wedding Crashers," and "The Town."

What song can’t I get out of my head right now? "Eyes On You" by Chase Rice.

My message to prospective students thinking about the value of college and BW: Make a trip to campus, sit in on a class, and take a tour. I think it’s the most effective way for you to make a decision.
