Peter Kwiatkowski received a undergraduate degree in philosophy with a minor in political science from Miami University in 1988. He earned a Juris Doctorate from The University of Akron in 1991 and worked for the City of Akron in both the civil and criminal departments throughout and immediately following law school.

After being admitted to the bar, he continued his public service experience as a prosecutor in Wayne County, Ohio. With a desire to grow his career in a larger city, he launched his private practice in Cleveland in 1993. Currently, his practice focuses on serving the needs of start-up and small businesses, helping them navigate and prepare for the various obstacles that face all growing companies.

Kwiatkowski brings his experience from a variety of legal scenarios to facilitate engaging and current classroom discussions. In 2006, he began his teaching career. He has taught college courses in communications, business law and ethics, constitutional law, criminology and victimology. Presently at BW, he lectures for BUS 329: business law, BUS 329: business ethics and BUS 326: legal environments of business organizations. He volunteers for Lakewood City Schools as a legal advisor for the Ohio Center for Law Related Education mock trial competition.
