Dr. Jaimy M. Dyer is a professor for the exercise science and pre-allied health/pre-physical therapy programs. She teaches theory of strength and conditioning, research design and statistics, health and fitness assessment techniques and practicum, advanced research, and the introduction to exercise science courses in the majors.

She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist® (CSCS®). She is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine and a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Dyer is involved with student groups on campus through service as faculty advisor for the Lifespan/EIM wellness ambassador group. She consistently engages in student research on campus and acts as the compliance officer for the University Institutional Review Board.

Dyer will also serve as the program director of the new one-year Master of Science in exercise physiology program approved to begin in fall 2023.
